T.W. Krahe is an artist and writer living with her partner in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She attended Penn State University and received her bachelor's degree in English literature and language. As a ten year practitioner of witchcraft she believes in the magic of the creative mind and is always striving to recapture that sense of childhood wonder that we were all inherently born with. As children, we had a unique advantage over the rest of the world. We were able to create kingdoms of our own design and disappear into them without ever having to leave our backyards. We were able to move within those worlds with no constraints. We were warriors, healers, and scientists. We could even fly. We dealt with everyday issues and conquered our fears. When we grew into adulthood, most of us lost the keys to those kingdoms. We were bound to this world with all its problems. We learned earthly ways to deal with issues such as repressing pain, and building walls between us and the people we live and work with.

"What I have found in my studies of Witchcraft were not only the keys back into those worlds of old, but that those worlds are real and have direct magical purpose. Through avenues like meditation, and visualization we can take a walk in a mountain meadow from the office. You see the "real" world or the world in which we live, is a creation of our imaginations. It is built by our experiences, from lessons we have taught ourselves or have learned from our elders. Our mental picture of the world is such a powerful image that, you can use it to redesign your entire life, or to create powerful new worlds such as those in a book or short story. If you understand that we hold ourselves back because of our beliefs, then we are also capable of freeing ourselves from these invisible prisons. By using our imaginations to envision the way we want it to be, taking the steps needed to achieve it and then, (and this is important), imagining that it is already that way. This final step anchors the visualization in the present by not allowing your mind to think of it as something for the future. Of course, this type of visualization is not as easy as it was when we were children. It takes concentration and lots of practice, but once you start seeing the changes, it certainly reopens that childhood world where anything was possible"

T.W. Krahe is currently working on two projects: A non fiction work entitled "Crow Magyck" and a series of novels for children of all ages beginning with "Returning Remy"
